Singapore Cyber Landscape 2018
Art direction and editorial design for Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) for the third instalment of their Cyber Landscape booklet
As with the two previous years, APT811 was approached to work with the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) for the third instalment of their Cyber Landscape booklet.
Due to the complex nature of information communications technology, it was important that APT811 take as visual of an approach as possible – especially because the information in the booklet was meant to be understood by even the older generation; who, in some ways, were the most susceptible to certain online threats of today.
For every major point made, a fitting set of illustrations were attached. For example, for the section about Phishing, the illustration showed fish being caught from out of a sea of information; and the section about large-scale data breaches showed a burglar happily leaving an apartment complex with a sack of data as an inhabitant finds out too late.
These visual decisions allowed APT811 and CSA to cut down on the typically wordy explanations for these topics, making the booklet far more accessible to anyone looking to learn about the latest and most relevant cybersecurity trends and threats.
