Media Exchange is an online news bulletin platform by the now-defunct Media Development Authority. The platform provides the latest updates on the media industry and community in Singapore and beyond for media professionals. These include filmmakers, members of the public, potential collaborators and many more.
MDA was looking to update the visuals and user interface design of Media Exchange from its previous design, and also to enhance the mobile viewing experience for their readers.
Given the variety of content genres and articles on display, we came up with a solution by assigning colour codes to its existing five sections, to make it easier for readers to identify and navigate the content. The emphasis on large images throughout the platform also enhances the experience for both desktop and mobile users.
