Repackaging Purdey’s
A packaging design project submitted for the D&AD New Blood Awards 2014
Brief
To repackage existing Purdey’s Rejuvenate and extend its range to include one new product – Purdey’s Natural Energy.
With the world increasingly looking for products that work in harmony with their bodies, Purdey’s was looking to appeal to the wider audience without losing the curiosity associated with the brand.
Solution
With the high demands from ever-changing consumers, the products are repackaged with fresh visuals, with a new bottle material.
Aluminium was proposed due to its light weight and recyclability. With less raw materials needed, production costs for the bottle is lessened, while the decreased weight allows efficient transportation.
The new colour scheme will allow the products to stand out from the shelves while retaining Purdey’s existing silver identity. It also allows consumers to identify the different flavours of the products.
