In his youth, Shao Long had a strange penchant for identifying multiple brand logos and drawing them from memory. This has come in handy in his current work as a designer.
Coming from a background in graphic communication, his works span from branding, print and editorial design, to digital design and art direction. His dedication to his craft and his curiosity towards finding unconventional ideas resulted in him putting in extra effort, even after working hours to ensure the best results.
With that, he has done a wide range of print and digital projects for Bybit Fintech, Standard Chartered Bank x Liverpool FC, Mastercard Priceless Experience, Singapore Polytechnic, Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore, SportSG, NUS Development Office, DesignSingapore Council, Unilever, Linde, Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC), former Media Development Authority, SkillsFuture Singapore, Workforce Singapore and more.
His interest in Human-Centred Design has led him to pursue a course in Service Experience Design & Innovation during the year 2021, where further developed his thought process using a User-Centric Design approach to create innovative and encompassing solutions for the organisation, businesses and their users.
He is obsessed with design, and what it can do for people. He aspires to be a creative hustler, creating phenomenal ideas and solutions that benefit people and the entire world.
During his free time, he enjoys performing for various local Chinese Orchestra troupes as a double bassist; playing basketball with his old buddies and jogging around the neighbourhood.
